I'm playing it freshly installed, where do i get the updates from?

I'm playine the first RTW , RTW barbarian Invasion Gold Edition, haven't gotten to Barbarian invasion yet though, and it's newly installed.

Yeah, you have to get at least 1.5



I was in the same situation, just I did it with the Greeks. I would say conquering the whole world isnt worth it though. When I did it I was like:

"Wow, go me. ........ Jeez, think how long I must have spent on this game."



The hardest part for me was definitely Northern Europe, they really annoyed me and slowed me down. Egypt and around there is easy because they are so spread out.

Hey thanks guys, also do you know how i can ger rid of the Scipii after i declared peace with them in order to conquer rome. I'm way past owning 30 provinces, and they are a nuisance in southern italy? !!

Yea i have the gold edition, so i should be able to play on cool!!

If you have the Gold Edition, it should be already patched up to 1.5.

However, if you have an "original" 1.0 RTW, you'll have to install the patches, which you will find right HERE. Before you install 1.5, you'll need to install patch 1.3 first.

If you have an "original" (1.0) RTW and Barbarian Invasion, you need to install both. Since BI will patch RTW to 1.3 automatically, you'll only have to install the BI 1.6 patch, which will automatically patch your RTW up to 1.5.
