It's already been talked about (long time ago, I believe), but my thoughts are still the same: As long as it's not a craptastic ripoff of Dynasty Warriors that Joan Of Arc was, I'm happy. If it's a good ripoff, I may buy it. Much love for the DW series.

Seconded, I just don't like it Anime style; they look JAPANESE!

And the voice acting better be good; so many Japanese games (not all) have bad voice acting.

It's KOEI we're talking about; the same people who made the Xu Zhu into a mentally-challenged overweight man, Xiao Qiao into a giggling schoolgirl, and Zhang He into a metrosexual in the English dubs. They aren't much better in the original Japanese.

New preview. This could be good.

You might also ask why do they have two handed morning stars that look like they weigh half a ton.

I loved the Dynasty Warriors series despite the over the top lunacy of many of the characters, but thats one of the reasons I love it. This looks good and I don't care about the historical innacuracies etc. etc. Pity I don't have an Xbox360 of PS3 though looks like there just releasing it for those.

Watch the videos in the OP. You'll find Generals in this game are dressed not just like Romans. But also Samurai's and 3 kingdoms Chinese officers. The game also features ninjas, elephants, amazons as units you can control. In otherwords it's just like dynasty warriors. Not that that's a bad thing.

They should be honest and rename the game "Mental Warriors", at least it would fit in with what they have at the moment

Demo is out on Xbox live, pretty fun IMO though the voice acting is poor and this game deffintely is not for the historical nut if the Roman guy and some of the other units menttioned in the thread make an apperance.

Something that I don't like though is that the flags appear Japanese in shape and not European unless I am mistaken about medieval flags/banners.
