Thread: Cannot request Marriage

    Default Cannot request Marriage

I just started playing the game, and really like it. However, I can't get any foreign princesses to marry my generals. It isn't that they say no, its that I dont even have the option. I send a diplomat to talk to a princesses, and there isn't even a way for me to offer it. Is this some kind of bug, or am I not understanding a neuance of the game? Does it have to be certain princesses, or do I need to have certain traits with my diplomat? Or am I just screwed?

To get a princess to marry into your faction, you need to have an heir of royal blood that has come of age and isn't already married.

You can't get a princess to marry your generals, only a family member.

Oh and welcome to the ORG by the way.

Either God wants to abolish evil and cannot, or he can but does not want to, or he cannot and does not want to, or lastly he can and wants to.

If he wants to remove evil, and cannot, he is not omnipotent. If he can, but does not want to, he is not benevolent. If he neither can nor wants to, he is neither omnipotent nor benevolent. But if God can abolish evil and wants to, how does evil exist?

In fact they will only marry the Faction Leader or Faction Heir...

It is a good idea to keep an eye on you upcoming prince and try to avoid one of those in faction marrages before he becomes heir...
