Default M2TW Should have sea battle expansion!

I've just had a look at E:TW and seeming that they are able to create sea battles in that game, I think CA should come up with an expansion pack (like Kingdoms) for M2TW that includes sea battles. Obviously that would take a lot of their time and money (and lot more memory on your computer) but I think it would be worth it.

    What does everyone think?

Yeah, it would be great but it won't happen. MTW2 is from CA Oz whilst ETW is coming from CA UK. Also ETW is having a brand new engine to power those over sized dingies. The Empire game needs the naval aspect for the construction of its empires, whereas I think it would be more of a side show in MTW2, although a damn fine side show at that. Personally I'd rather they spent their / our money on getting Kingdoms right.

Yeah I know it will never happen. But just think of the new depth the game would take!
I know I'd start to take a better interest in controlling the seas rather than at times sticking to the land (referring to my RTW experiences).

I hope that once CA move to E:TW as their prime project, and then finally move past it, that they come back to the medieval / Roman era games and make them with these types of options. I'm not really a fan of the 1700's, 1800's era. Mind you though, I will still probably buy the game, as long as I don't need a super computer to play it!

    de ja vu

anyone remember the same sentiments when MTW was out but as wel all know its not going to be implemented as it is a whole new software

however medieval seabattles were not as exciting as the later time period i think there was a discussion about this long time ago.

Agree with the previous statement, it will be a completely different game engine for ETW. If the screenshots are anything to go by, I'd say we'll need to upgrade our graphic cards...
