My Canons do not Fire !

Hello;
I'm victim of some kind of bug ....I can see troops loading the canons but they never fire ....on either side.....
What can I do ? (Please not reinstall)

Angle of firing - might not be correct - either too low, too high or else too many of your own troops in the way.

please check other threads regarding artillery (my D/L is a bit low at the moment).

The thing about cannon and other siege weapons is that they do not start out with fire at will.

You need to select a target or set them to fire at will. They are also pretty slow in getting off the first shot so if you don't have a long range they will be in danger of having to pull back without firing.

Hi ; The game was working fine before I reinstall it few days ago ....
Noway : The canons are mute....even if I point out The target at reach ( GREEN BOW) ...Canons don't fire on my game ( on both side )
Do you suggest anything before I reinstall ?

post a screen-shot. make sure you select your cannon units when u do so that we can check your angle/settings.

heck, my cannons dont fired either. but that is because they can "see the red of their eyes" from the enemies and are about to get a taste of cold (soon to be warm) steel, or else they are in that h-spot (hard-to-get-to spot) that i cant seems to get angle from.

the other explanation could be if that you are playing the downloaded version from internet, you are missing some files. but if you are the game should crash.

I had to Reinstall it ...again .
I previously had experience that bug
Now it's working fine and the canons do fire again...but the patch 1.2 takes so long to install each time (extraction + install takes about 40 mn ).

Is it the same with you ?
