He wants to use the disco vote as cover for his mafioso activities. Not that it worked in M4, when it got him killed precisely because it was predictable and irritating.

FYI, in previous editions the disco vote was always on Ice, thus allowing Discovery1 to escape serious discussion. As with Reenk Roink's list in M3, this annoyed other players, who felt this allowed Disco to place his vote without taking part in discussions. So they lynched him in round 2. It turned out he was scum.

Tut tut tut. I did the same thing in mafia 1, and was a townie. And its not like I'll participate in a discussion anyway(BANDWAGON SMILIE!). How you people find the time for such long drawn out arguements I'll never understand.

Traditions in the Mafia series

1. UltraWar, when playing, is usually always killed off first.

2. Disco always votes on the basis of where his fellow townies go to college, and gets in trouble for it too.

3. With the possible exception of Mafia VI (and this one), when Kagemusha is killed/lynched it spells trouble for the mafia.

4. No mafioso has ever survived for more than one round without his partner.

5. Ichigo will always Vote: Sasaki first.

6. The endgame is usually a bang, not a whimper.

7. Former mafiosi generally tend to do well for themselves in future games.
