You may also try The Long Road which has 21 factions more (and new) merc units recruitable through a new building (like in MTW IIRC) and a large map going as far east as Iran.

It also add transferable titles and new color schemes for the factions...

All in all a good mod...

You got any links to that mate and instructions for setting it up with medmanager ?.

The Long Road is not referenced anywhere on the Org (a shame in my opinion...)

As to setting it up with medmanager, I don't think it necessary as is comes with an installer (and even a hot seat mode with a shortcut for both on the desktop...)

Ive got it mate and installed it and it looks exacterly what im after (basically m2tw on steroids lol). I've just got a couple of questions though do the mongals & timurids still invade as i'd really like to fight them still (im not arsed about the aztecs).

I've not reached that period yet but I think Mongols and Timurid have been crashed... And i'm not too disappointed...

I have Lands to Conquer, Stainless Steel and The Long Road...

All are good, Lands to Conquer is basically a rebalanced and improved verision of vanilla.

Stainless Steel and the Long Road both add factions and units.

Clouds across Europe was a really nice one but it's development team have stopped work on it, so it is what it is and is unlikely to change...

The Long Road sounds really attractive because of all the new units and factions but it does remove the americas from the map (bigger map however). Stainless Steel does not remove the americas.

Both The Long Road and Stainless Steel use a realisim traits system that introduces features of supply line into the game. Personally I have not yet decided whether this adds to the depth of the game or is simply just annoying...

I use Lusted's LtC the most at the moment...
