I prefer atm DEUS LO VULT. Probably the most accurate MOD out. It has some very nice scripted features.
I really loved AD for 1.1 as well, amazing atmosphere.

The current DLV gives u the Teutonic knights, Lithuanians, Kievans, Crusaders, Armenia, Flanders and Ireland.

Not bad really.
