Hmmm.... so there will be more than one area to defend or attack in each province? That sounds like a very nice change, especially if we can do hit-and-run attacks to soften up a province before invasion (and defend against them in our own provinces). If the AI can handle harrassment tactics, it will be one way for weaker factions like American Indians to have an impact without actually laying siege to your capital city.Originally Posted by Ituralde
Yes! That sounds like a great improvement. Micro-managing agents in the later part of the campaign is a royal PITA. I don't mind seeing this done on a more abstract level, if that's what they're doing. On the other hand... I hope there's still a way to target an army and have the game just send a spy there, without having to move the spy around on the map. That's important in the current design, if you want to know exactly what you're up against. Maybe if you pay enough money from your treasury into espionage, that just happens automatically, or something.- Diplomats, Spies and Assassins will no longer be represented on the map. A new system will be introduced.
