How did you lure those rebels out in the Americas campaign? I assume that's the first rebel town you were asked to conquer. I emptied my culverin (20% kills) and they never ventured outside the walls.

In the beginning of the campaign you only have a few Spanish soldiers. Since you have to preserve them I starved the natives and let them sally after four turns. After that it was easy.
The best way to do it is to retreat a couple of hundred meters and let them attack you. Then have two or more conquistadores charge toward the gate and block the gate. The enemy will instantly route and all be killed by your cavalry

kingdoms looks awesome! cant wait to get it myself, are any of the games aspects better or feel right compared to medieval 2?
