You don't see much poetry in this forum. Your style is refreshing, it has that haiku rythm going on.

it is indeed direct but very refreshing!!! This said, it does not matter who you fight, a river crossing or a bridge is by far one of the best places to defend. Better would be some mountain fight, perched on top of a cliff with longbowmen raining arrows on the approaching enemy...![]()
The best way to beat them? Fabian strategy. I just love use it against everybody. Reminds the first crusade i got to jerusalem (i was egipt). I put several small armies in a row from mamluk archers in the way of a full stack. I lost 3 battles, and from the 3 battles i had minimal losses and destroyed several units from the crusaders. After they got to Jerusalem i reunited the small armies in a biger army and kicked their asses. Then retrained and waited fro the next stack. I beat 3 full stackes with less then 1 with this startegy, with lots of "close defeats"![]()

Whaomg Nobody Told Me They Come Back With 4543545 Stacks Once You Kill Them All!!!!!!!
Yes, they do. And then their big brothers come. With cannons riding on elephants.
That's the entire problem. One stack is fairly easy if you play it right, two is doable, and more are doable with the right terrain. The problem is that they get about 10 stacks full of high experience units and full/close to full commander/dread generals.Originally Posted by s_tabikha
And, as the others pointed out, then come the elephants with cannons on their backs...

Maybe we should ask the Iron Maiden to alter their original textOriginally Posted by Guru
