Nice, but in 70 BC, Rome had many client states also. Still not bad.
Also, Carthage was no more, but that is kind of hard to do without conquering all of Africa.

not bad 'tall, nice work. For Carthge I usually destroy them around the appropriate time, and then allow the Numidian and Mauretanian lands to rebel so the map looks right.
i think carthage was finally eliminated by 149 BC. i still have a few years to take their settlements. i've also kept the getai, pontice and arverni in the game by conquering the territories around my empire and then giving it to these factions. otherwise they would have been long gone.
