Brian Ó Néill wasn't much of a hero in fairness, perhaps more of the diplomat that he could convert Aedh Ó Concobhair and Tadhg Cael Uisce to his cause (incidentally Tadhg's father, Conchobhar Ó Briain is in the game as Conor O'Brien, a nice touch I think). Brian, after arranging his superiority and recognition of his High Kingship, died a mere two years latter in the battle of Down, not making much of a historical impression. Tadhg and Aedh, who were both tánaiste at this stage, both made a greater historical impact.
