Nobody ever has to "go around deleting registry keys" for well-behaved Windows programs, because they're supposed to do that as part of the normal uninstall process.
In addition, the fact that the SecureRom files, unlike normal keys, are hidden in ways similar to rootkits (while not being an actual rootkit) tends to trigger anti-virus programs. All in all, not a wonderful move by CA, in my opinion.
