PK; please don't dignify this immature comment with an answer, Stig I am now politely asking you to stop posting in this thread, seeing as you're no longer taking part there is no need for you to post here.

Ok, if Stig is unable to continue playing, it seems I will be taking over for the Byzantines (luckily for me, they're my favorite faction) . Any alliances and agreements will require renegotiation, not so much because of plans to change them, but so that I may become aware of them (and don't stupidly, say, attack my best and oldest ally or something).

P.S. Now I'm off to read the whole thread and catch up.

    Welcome Zim!

Basically, Jerusalem and Antioch are at war with Turkey and Egypt. Byzantines are at war with Turkey. If you have ever played the Crusade campaign, then you know the Venetians are coming in a little while. And eventually the Mongols will grace us with their presence. Were only 5 turns in so there is still plenty to do.

Turkey has just had a change in advisers to the Sultan so the Sultan is willing to make deals.

That's different, as this does not compare to not being a part of Franconia and posting there anyway.

But I will stop posting here, same for the other games, which I won't join

I pmed him. Hopefully he'll respond in a day or two. If not, then I guess we have to start over. I hope not, though, since that could be disastrous for a game that's gone on a while like this one.

Well, luckily we have 5 dedicated players so it would be annoying to start over, but not "game killing". One way or another, we'll play a crusade game.

With what happened between Doug and I, it would be a shame to start over...

Both our careful planning would be lost...

    Hi irish king!

PBM means Play By Mail. Someone starts a Total War game. Then they upload the save and someone else plays. It's a way for us to play together.

Here is a good thread on it: https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=30871

Yeah all the careful plans Bohemond and Baldwin have made would go to waste, as would all those Turks I killed. I am willing to stall this for a few days in order to get the password.

Seeing as we're all in the Teutonic game, we can get our Kingdoms Hotseat fix while we figure out what's going on in this game.

Same here... All those efforts put in the game and the write-up, I would not like to see them go to waste...

    EF, please let us know...

And would you play your turn even if he didn't so that I can see what mischief Doug has been up to...

Alright, if we're at a standstill with the Byzantine password, lets consider starting over. Now do we want different factions to mix it up or do people want their same faction?

I know people put a lot of work into this hotseat but if we can't move forward, we might as well play a new crusade game.

Also, this situation illustrates why people should pick passwords they do not care about.

Well no-one would have known that you used it for those things if you hadn't said, and if no-one knew nobody here would want to try. Alright then we'll start afresh tomorrow.

Well I'm afraid I don't have time to be gamesmaster anymore but I can still play. PK, Tristan, Doug or Zim can take over if they want and use their own method of being gamesmaster.

I'll take it if Tristan, Doug, or Zim don't want it. If I don't hear any major objections within 24 hours, I will start up the first savegame.

I'd like to keep this thread so I'd ask EF to help me maintain the first post. Rules will pretty much be the same except I'll need passwords before I start up. And I'll want to keep the game moving at a brisk pace.

But I came into this late and am "new". If one of the others want to run this game, they are more than welcome to.

I think we have a good gaming group here and I'd be more than happy to play under any of you.

Feel free to start the new game, PK, although I'd use a different thread for it.
I'll be happy to do it if you don't want to, but the way things are going in KOTR, I may end up with added resposibilities there I should tend to.
