Unless your employer forces you to, there's no reason to use IE over Firefox. When I'm navigating around (Windows) Explorer, I miss having tabs, mouse gestures, customisable menus and options, add-ons, etc. I went through a phase of looking for a file manager that gave me the options that I had grown accustomed to in Opera and Firefox, until I concluded none of them were satisfactory. I recently found something called Notepad++ though, which is Notepad with tabs and a few other features.

Are there any file managers that offer the features I note above with minimal overhead? I've tried Total Commander, 2explorer, and a few others, with AC Browser probably the pick of the bunch. Still no mouse gestures though (something that irked me about Thunderbird also).
