Default Foraging for weapons and armor

I was watching Pathfinder, a movie about the Viking Invasion of North America, and I was thinking. It would be fun and rewarding if you attacked a village or town with that contains superior weapons or armor as a result of their culture, and just we're lucky or smart enough to defeat them by your strategy, an interesting new twist would be to to allow them to take weapons from the city.

Usually as a result of winning battles, I believe that your fighting ability goes up, so some might argue that you do get gains inherent to RTW, but this would add an exciting twist. It's just an idea, and it may be a bad one, but I think that this is how historically that some technologies were absorbed and adapted.

I'm using this system for one of the factions in my mod. Basically almost each faction has a different armory they must build to get their units. This one faction, the Dunlendings, cannot build their own armory and their units are barbaric at best. But if they capture a town with an armory, then they can produce units using weapons and armor from that armory's faction.

that already happens when you capture settlement, you repa the benefits of what that settlement has built and the effect his has on the people, army etc, conquer a settlement with a hidden resource and you own the abiltiy to cultivate that recoures, i know ur trying to come up with somthing innovative, but lets not try to make a better wheel, try harder to make tcar better, better luck next ime kid>>>ARM out!!!
