there should really be 2 different competitions. one for original screenies and one for Photoshop users.

and this one is my favorite so far

    oh sorry

I deleted the top of the pic as it was in replay mode (so took out the 'player' and the numbers'

so that's why it's less of a height

    hope it's not a problem

    oh that's weird

I remember when I cropped the image (to take out the replay player at the top) I didn't affect the width

I think it's OK? or maybe somethings wrong, not sure

the original screenshot from the game looked like this:

The replay player is the UI in this picture, so the cropping is just fine.

The replay UI can be hidden by pressing some button. It could have been "space" but I'm not too sure. I've played around with movie cam only once and it was a while ago so it's understandable that I don't remember anymore.

    ah OK

next time I'll take a screenshot, I'll try to find out what that button is, so I don't have to crop the top bit.

Anyhow I do not think it's going to be much of a problem; AFAIK the rule is to make sure we do not get to vote on post-stampe pics.

blank: I personally liked the other one better, though. It felt more... epic, I think. Tha's perhaps not the exact word of my choice, but I can't find a better word for it so it'll have to do. I'm sure you get the idea anyway.

I think I actually like this one more (and that says a lot). It's a nice change from the old theme, and that tree is amazing. The lighting effects are excellent as well.

I have a program, by the advice of Bootsiuv, called FRAPS, that I may use for taking screenshots.
However, before I make an entry here, or start a new AAR, I would like to know first how you have broken the limit on how low the camera can zoom in?
I am sorry to post here without an entry, however I saw someone else had asked this question and gone unanswered, and it does fit the subject.

R:TW has an option called "movie cam" but unfortunatly it only works during replays, and you cannot take replays of campaign battles. For information on how to activate movie cam, read this thread.

somehow i managed to delete my first pic from the web AND lose it from my computer files...

so heres a new one from my AAR

A battle outside the gates of Antiocheia; this is my 6 star +4 morale 8 chevron general , who happens to be a sated warmonger during this pic, stabbing away in the backs of some Pez. Those are Cretan arrows flying by towards the advancing Ptolemaians trying to flank my general, but on the right you can see more spartans moving in to protect the flank of their Strategos. Look at that poor pez trooper about to get stabbed in the helmet lol
