If you could get that screenshot with a more varied army ahead and a little closer to the walls (and firing artillery/archers?), it would be perfect.

its supposed to be a barbarian horde. not much variety in those, eh?
and having archers on the walls kinda defeats how dramatic its supposed to be. its supposed to seem like these poor (almost) defenseless militia soldiers are up against a horde of barbarians.

Bah, not much variety? There's tons of different types of units in northern Europe.

    And I meant archers below.

It should be better for some people to have a screenshot of the week competition

    "Steady Lads!"

I was going to edit this picture, but whatever I did to it, it always ended up looking worse. I think this is one of those rare shots that are perfect without any modifications.

    And yes, those are real.

"An Encounter, of the Thraikian Kind"

The Romani invaded my thraikian possesions, and this army was their scouting force to head up their endless stacks. They were met with extreme prejudice.

Nice shot Fanatic, I also did little to editing to mine (minus taking out the big banners), as doing anything else seemed to make it less than it really is.

Love those eyes peeking above the grassline. Is indeed nearly perfect.

...if the rez was higher. I would say this is the hands-down winner if not for that.
