Saving battle replays

I've read in this forum (but a search came up with nil) that it was possible to save battle replays in the campaign using the console...

Anyone can me with this ?

I will soon have to fight a very challenging battle and would like to relive it should it be a victory (or even a defeat if I put up a good fight)...

How should I replay that ?

Good heavens, I've been playing all this time and wishing after nearly every campaign battle that I could save. Will definitely have to try this out.

I've saved a few replays this way, but none of them work when I try to replay them. The game black screens and I have to hit ESC to exit. :(

Hope you have better luck than I. (I have LTC installed, but the replays were made under 1.02 vanilla).

It doesn't work for me, neither. The game is always crashing with the unspecified error. The custom battle replays works fine, off course. And I don't have any mods installed...
