For balance's sake, for example Pahlav vs Romani may not be very even. Here's a list of games I think would be fairly balanced:

Lusotannan vs Romani
Arverni/Aeudi vs Romani
Romani vs Sweboz
Arverni/Aeudi vs Sweboz
Arverni vs Aedui
Epeiros vs Romani
Epeiros vs Koinon Hellenon
Makedonia vs Arche Seleukeia

anyways, i didnt manage to get EB installed in a new folder. apparently it requires a whole new reinstall process which im reluctant to undertake. my current EB is kind of unique, ultimate version with lots of mini fixes, BI exe etc.
do you have RTRPE? we could try that for MP. you need to run MP batch between battles though.

i got 0.8a full + 0.81av2Patch. afaik it's all you need, is that right?

I have been playing with BI.exe, is it possible for me to join?
However I am of course adapted to GMT 10+.
I am very interested in mulitplayer as the original Rome: Total War multiplayer members were rather.. Unorthodox.. I don't think they ever wondered very much about the historical meaning of this game.

yeah, those kids are nasty
if you got BI than every one else has to use it i guess... or you could go back to 1.5. thats what i just did. any other custom changes will cause incompatability.
anyhow, get on xfire if you want to play. ill be on this evening.

Thanks for the nice games! 40,000 mnai seems like a quite good setting for EB mp, or what did you think? Hopefully we can do this again some time in the future, for me there won't be much time in the nearest two months though.

same here.
imo 35k does nicely too. so i'd say it lies somewhere between 30 and 35-40k.

For all those wishing to join us, those who have written in this thread along with Madmatg have been playing at approximately 02:00 GMT +10, which is rather hard on me.
We have not been using hamachi but the gamespy network provided.
It's been very good! However I have lost all but one miserably.
