Well I am still living at home and my mom EXTREMELY annoyed not just at EB, but also to EB forums, Bodybuilding/weightlifting forums, and lately YouTube.
So in order for me to play EB I just take a nap in the early evening after dinner, and then wake up at 1:00am and play until 3:00am or 4:00am. Finaly get a glass of milk and my fishoil and go back to sleep. However I can only do this when I don't have to wake up early the next day.
BUT on a Saturdays I play until 7:00am after comming home from clubbing at 3:30am.

She doesn't ask questions and she doesn't get a history lesson, we both get something out of it, I just start any response with "well back in 236BC the Romans were..." and she gets the idea.

I just got a girlfriend and I don't know what she thinks of EB yet, she seems quite interested in it though.

My girl is cool with it. She knows i'm a big fan of history; specifically the time period covered in EB and extending back to the heyday of Sparta and Athens. She understands i can't ever see, read, or play enough of anything having to do with this time period. She says i'm a dork and i need help......
Who knows....maybe she's right....
She'll see me playing EB and say "are you defending Greece from that 7ft Xerxes with all the earings and his Rhino Cavalry again?"...I'll cringe and say "no smart ass...i'm fighting Macedonians." which of course she'll reply "who?"

Tell girls about EB? Are you crazy?! I keep it secret, but then again I don't have a great track record either way.

When Hell freezes over I'll get a girlfriend (I can only get one-nighters right now. Don't know why). When I get a girlfriend I'll post my alibi.

My parents don't really care, since they are two and a half hours away from my apartment and don't know what I do with my computer (and don't really care).
Usually I just played and gave yes or no answers to questions.

She mostly doesn't mind...except when the "Professor v8.1a" pops up, then she tries to "disable advisor".
nah she's actually pretty cool, she communicates with me using the unit stat system when she has something she wants me to do...ie morale bonuses etc

Haha, this is my tactic too.
Also, if I give up the right to the TV control, she's hapy enough watching Exteme Make Over or Big Brother or whatever it is girlfriends watch when they're not subjected to watching football.
I also send her shopping.
