    Question A question

    Is there a no-cd patch available for EB? My disk 1 is scratched so I have to use an iso. if not, would the 1.5 no-cd for vanilla rtw work?

    Well we don't change the .exe used by the game, which is what a no-cd patch alters.

    Hello The ImPaLeR6, welcome to the Org. You have cited an understandable reason for using a no-CD crack, but since no-CD cracks themselves are illegal we don't allow discussion of them on this board. Please read the forum rules.

    CD-cracks aren't illegal for the reason he wants to use them. It is 100% perfectly legal to download a cd-crack for your own game that you bought.

    They're illegal for illegally copying games.

    I think that depends on the country. Anyway, his question is answered and it's a legal grey zone, so a moderator should choose whether to lock or delete the thread.
