does anyone think it'll be possible to one day play mtw on vista + nvidia 8xxx cards? i appreciate all the efforts that have gone into the apothecary stickies but i cant be bothered to spend a whole day tweaking just to get hundreds of ctds anyway.

maybe i should just get a 2nd hand laptop with lower/older specs just to run the damn thing.
if i get mtw2 i know i'll just be annoyed by all the features the developers removed from the original. is it true there are no pitched battles aside from seiges?

Have you tried right-clicking the MTW shortcut, going into Properties, and choosing Compatibility Mode for WinXP?

The problem is the 8xxx cards. It doesn't work without problems for MTW or STW battlefields. It's the only reason why my PC has a GF7.
