    Default Eternal life....

So i managed to train a really good general, at least the best i encountered so far. However his life is drawing to a close and i would really like to keep him.....So is there any way to change this guy's age?

I don't know of any method to change a character' age...

The only way I know of to keep characters out of death's way is the save/reload process (got my french king at 91 y.o)

Whenever an end turn results in the death of one of your valauble general, reload a save game and change a thingy (move a diplomat, a priest) and end turn until you don't get that death ( you still might get another but you can't save them all can't you ?)

Take a page from history and gather up your ships and launch an expedition to Floridia. Once there, enlist the help of the locals in your search for the Fountain of Youth.

Get over it, train his grandson

(there's no way to change a character's age except maybe through savegame editing which you'd have to figure out how to do first)

    Save/Reload everyturn until he's 120, then he'll turn 0 next turn, I think.
