I bought the expansion yesterday, so I have played 3 sieges only but I feel like units in the city are easier to control. Before you couldn't maneuvering a unit as soon as one of the solders of it started to fight against an enemy. You have to click, reclick and rereclick again and be lucky to move a fighting unit were you want.

Now seems that when you click to move a unit all non fighting of the unit men obey you order, so is it possible to envelop enemy units in wide streets.
