Prerequisites for Cathedral?

Some of the stuff in the tech tree is wrong, like some buildings not requiring the castle level they are at. The cathedral has me bugged, though. I'm not sure why I can only build it at 1 province. I know that some stuff like the chancellory can only be built once but I don't think that is the case with a cathedral.

I have around 3 provinces with both a church and a citadel but only 1 can build the cathedral. Coincidentally or perhaps not, it is also my capital, the one with the chencellory and admiralty.

Also, monastery doesn't seem to require a chapter house or maybe just a chapter house anywhere because I can build both in some provinces just after church.

but I do know in STW and WEMI you could only build one Cathedral.

You can only build one cathedral.

A Monastary doesnt require a chapter house.

Ive not seen the manual or tech-tree so i dont know what it looks like or what it shows - so cant comment on that sorry.

A small income (50 florins pa) , the ability to build a university and to build cardinals, improves province loyalty and improves the morale of troops built in that province.

andrewt I have a problem for that too. (Tech-tree) Its so big..Its kinda hard. It would be nice for the little tips for the Tech-tree.

I tried cancelling it and seeing if I could build it somewhere else but apparently I have to wait a turn before building it.

Anyway, the mines and farmlands don't even need a fort. The dockyard, IIRC, only needs shipwright and keep, not cstle.
