    Default Luciano Pavarotti Dies

That's total crapness. Another great figure dies of health issues.

    Time to say goodbye.

Sorry for the cliche, even though he never sang that song.

Finally, his lifetime ban from Chicago's Lyric Opera is over. Sad day, though.

I've slowly been gaining more of a taste for opera and classical music. This man has moved me closer to it.

I am a big fan of classical music and I am sad such a great voice has been silenced.
As a tenor I tend to look for role models or great singers that you can have as idols.
Pavarotti is not the one I admire the most but he was high up on the top 10 list.

Nessun Dorma is a great aria and was Pavarotti’s signature song.
I had the pleasure to play in the Opera where this aria is sung (Turandot – I was the palace guard on the right side of the great staircase where this aria is performed [the things we do to impress girls] ) and it is the one song the audience is waiting for.

Pavarotti did this aria well. **RIP**
