Bagauda description not correct

Both in-game and on the website the description of Bagaudas ("Guerilla Fighters") says that they don't carry javelins, even though they do. I quote:

They lack javelins or other ranged weapons and are extremely vulnerable at range.

And from the EDU...

So is the description wrong or is my English worse than I ever thought it could be?

That looks like a bug indeed, but I do not know which is the correct; the EDU or the description. I'll notify the people who'd know, thanks!
