    Default Kingdoms-Teutonic hotseat

Yes I'm starting up another one this may seem ambitious but I really did it for the people who did not get into the last one,
    Here are the factions:

The Teutonic order - Tristan de Castelreng
    Lithuania - Doug_Thompson
    Novgorod - Zim
The Holy Roman Empire - Elite Ferret
    Denmark - Deguerra
    Poland - PerfectOne
    Mongols - phonicsmonkey

Tristan de Castelreng Teutonic Order 1
    Zim Novgorod 2
    Elite Ferret HRE 3
    Deguerra Denmark 4
    phonicsmonkey Mongols 5

    The rule on turn times:
48hrs to play your turn or give me a reason why you need longer,
then I have 24hrs to find a replacement giving them an extra 48hrs to play it,
if I don't find a replacement the turn will be skipped to avoid slowing down the game.

Seeing that this thing takes no time at all (I expected it would cost me more time). And since MP is better than SP (I hate SP normally):

I'll be Lithuania, since I've no idea what it's like.

okay but remember this is supposed to be for ppl who didnt get into the crusades one so if a lot of new ppl want to join I may move things around a bit (although this is unlikely)

They can always make their own one, you don't have to initiate every game yourself.
If enough people are around someone else can start a game with everyone not in this one.

I agree Bob, if one of the people who posted in our game thread wants in and there's no room, I'll give up my spot and just join whatever next kingdoms pbm starts.

Could every player update the state of the world in his turn by stating the events (deaths, battles,...) etc that took place during its turn ?

I think it will more immersive...

    It's Proletariat's turn

Has anyone heard from him ? Can't see his activity...

Should we PM him ? or skip his turn and go on...

If we start anew, let's try to make sure we get the scrolls at the beginning of turns...

Should be done on the hotseat section of the cfg file

I'm not responsible for the final choice, but it would be great to have you with us...

Perhaps as my ally for the once...

    So welcome...

Which faction would you play ?

I would keep Poland if possible...

Husar has just said he won't be in on a new one so that leaves the Teutonic Order open. If Stig continues his policy of boycotting games that I am in, that opens up the Lithuanians as well.

Since gibson can not seem to remember his password, we should seriously consider starting over. *nudges EF* ^_^

alright we'll start afresh, I'll wipe the player list as I am not at all sure how many people are playing now, not all of the factions need to be filled anyway. PM your passwords and post here if you want to join.

I'll keep the Danes. Are you keeping HRE EF?

To everyone else, make sure you don't use a password you actually care about and use for other things. Don't use the same one you use for the .org or your email.

I'll choose my faction after most are taken, I'm not really too bothered who I play as. Nice IMS letter btw.

I'm sorry to have started all that fuss but I thought that ganging up on the AI was a bit lame IMHO...

That is what's fun about the Crusades Hotseat, no AI to contend with, there are real (and devious ) human minds, which give a superior and fairer challenge...

It was no luck that I read PK before reading EF post in the thread... if I laid waste some of your scheming but I had to play the advocate for saving the TO

Tristan, have no fear. There will still be plenty of scheming. If anything, killing the AI lets us get at each other faster. If you want in on the scheming, you can start by returning King Knud's letter that he sent yesterday. ^_^

Unicorns are mythical creatures, my army will fly by winged armadillo likeall the other armies.

I prefer floating turtles. Comes from my years of playing warcraft 2...

Ok, we're talking about giant troop transporting animals. We clearly need this game to start soon...

Hmmm...turtles...I wonder if I could train giant sea turtles to ferry my men across the Baltic Sea?

I definately need one of these games to start soon. I actually blew up a screen shot of one of the campaign maps, made copies, and drawing in possible troop movements. Does that make me wierd? http://www.xkcd.com/15/

Luckily, if I read one of Elite Ferret's earlier posts correctly, the game is starting in some 5-6 hours or so. Since it's late in my time zone and I'm getting sick, I figure that gives me some decent sleep time and I can et up to find out when my turn is and who starts.

    Edit: Link added.
