where are my logfiles?

Been playing a quite a bit over the past week and decided to check out how many games I've logged. Unfortunately my \logfiles directory contains only one file informatively telling me that 'logfiles go in here'

There is no preference I've seen in the options menu to enable this feature nor have I found a *.ini or cfg file to turn it on.

Is this something to be included in a patch?

According to a dev post last week, they were disabled for some reason and will be put back in with the patch.
