    Default Deleting units from factions

    It's me again:

What's the easiest way to delete a unit from being available to a faction?
I'm working on a Savoy faction by editing Milan (for a 100 Years War Mod) and now I need to get rid of those units I don't need. I tried simply deleting milan in the ownership line, but that doesn't seem to work

Try taking out the buildings that make the unit and leave the column blank. That should do it.

*edit* Just realised that this isn't perhaps very helpful as it will take the unit out from all factions (nobody will be able to build it).

For ownership columns IIRC leaving them empty simply means that everyone can make the unit. This is probably why it does not work. You could try also "giving" the unit to a faction that won't be present (Russia, a muslim faction).

Oh, you might have got what I forgot to do.
I simply took away ownership, forgot that some building thought they were still able to make the unit.

    Another question is:
Do I have to delete the entry in the db-file? (because that will be going to take sometime)

simply open up export_descr_buildings.txt and search for the unit u are trying to eliminate. If u want them completely out of the game for all factions, delete the entire line entry. If u only want them for certain factions, delete the factions from the recruitment { } section.

Thanks m8, but I already found out myself I had to do that as well.
    But thanks anyway.
