    Has anyone noticed whether the AI seems unwilling to build faction specific buildings.
    Ok Turn 130 is approaching the plague arrival and generally your cities are approaching the 20-30 mark. Indeed some are over 30 with all the squalor and public order issues.

    Hre by this point I have printing presses in virtually every European city along with thebanks . They generate extra cash and provide relief from PO issues. Cities like Venice, Paris, Milam , Viena they are essential to maintain order.

    Venice is pretty much the same with their banks and artist studios.
    England had its admiralty line although i think it gave trade bonus. The point is in my Spanish campaign that magical turn number is approaching yet it appears that the whole of germany and what is Italy is barren of these buildings and we are talking well over 15 regions between the above who i have deliberatly left alone for this reasons.

    Why is this? Is it to prevent you enjoying their benefits as a alien faction or does the AI not need their bonus, another cheat maybe.

    It may depend on how "broke" the faction is. I've have taken cities that had the artist studio in it but only the first level.
