    Default American Pride Thread

    The United States Of America

Who here is from the Land of the Free?
I'm making this thread so we can see how many members are from the US, and we Americans can talk about America. Please nothing negative about the best country in the world (). ;)

This will get locked or Backroomed quickly, methinks.

Don't need the flag in the sig, I'm pretty sure most people can tell who we are. It's not just a country, it's a state of mind.

We are a beautiful mix of many. It is not our blood line that makes us the most kick-arse country in the world, but our beliefs and ideals. The rest of the world should follow our example and adopt some standards. ;) jk

This a community forum, and in the Kingdom of Peace and Love as well, and that is not acceptable. Everyone's opinion here matters. I'd like to ask you to refrain from comments like that in the future. I'm sure you can see why.

The post originally came across as insulting. I realize that people are making fun of each other, and I'm glad all the Americans here can post about how proud they are of their country. That specific post, however, just seemed to me like it was slightly insulting.

I apologize if I was in the wrong, but perhaps an emoticon would've made it clearer.

My mother was American. As were my grandparents, uncle, aunt, two cousins, two nephews, two nieces, two brothers in law, one sister in law, and one really hot ex-girlfriend.

I'll end this thread with a proud God Bless America and wish all our American friends here a lovely weekend.
