What is wrong with CA? I've seen most of the new kingdoms units and They are all pretty much exact copies of Vanilla units, why couldn't they come up with origonal looking units?

Oh, well. I guess I'll just have to settle for Saethwyr, Gwent Raiders, and Ritterbruder.

dude, there are LOADS of new units. Some look the same, yes, but that's becouse the factions that have them existed in vanilla. Also, some units almost every faction has, so no wonder they're not changed

well yes except the ones in the vanilla game (and mayan-tarascan-tlaxcalan; they r all copies of the aztecs) all factions seem to get new and interesting units even the factions that were in vanilla got some pretty good units like flame trowers (have u seen anything like that before?) or hasham.

I love the look but doubt that anyone would wear a winged helmut into battle.
One glancing blow to the head and your wings would catch on someone's sword/axe/warhammer and spin your head around, snapping your neck. I do like the look though,very Wagnerique. I expect "The Flight of the Valkyries" to play at the start of battle or something.

The only faction I was disappointed about the looks were the Apache. I mean every other American faction is so colorful and they are all dirt colored. (I still like playing as them.)

I feel like this subject comes up about once a week, but...

joe4iz, you're absolutely right in thinking that nobody ever wore crests on their helmets like that outside of the tourney field, except Teutonic knights.

They were oddballs. ^_^ Terror before practicality, and it seemed to work for them. The helms in the game are accurate.

Keep in mind that crests on helms like that would be made of materials like lightweight, painted and gilt wood, never metal, so a dangerous blow would be more likely to rip your pretty horns off rather than your head.

Yes. There's no better way of saying own than getting beat by openly effeminant knights. Its like getting kicked in the balls by a care bear.
