    Default EB competed?

    Sorry if this is really thickheaded, but I have been offline for 10 months. Anyways, is EB actually completed yet? If so where can I download it from?

    EB is not completed.

    The latest public build is 0.81a V2.

    No worries about BI mate. Just a 1.5 fresh RTW, and put it over.

    No need for BI. Just install 1.5, if you want to keep vanilla RTW copy the folder (at least, I always do that so I can install new mods later), and install EB into wherever you need to.

    Seeing your avatar reminded me of Khelvan. Anyone know if he's still active?

    Cheers guys. I thought Khelvan was heading up this little project? At least thats what I thought when I briefly worked on EB doing the historical battles. Thats a good point actually, are any historical battles in this version of eb?

    Khelvan has retired due to great demands of his time at work. Kull has been manager for some time, but recently has become occupied with other matters. I am now temporary manager along with Foot.

    There are a number of historical battles being worked on, but none that are actually in the build as of yet.

    Ok cool. Good luck with EB Bovi :)

    I have another question now, sorry to keep going on but I was just wondering if the difficulty levels have been tinkered with and if so, how?

    Yes, we tinker with difficulty. We assist the AI with extra money (although not affected by difficulty level). It's fair because you get the extra brains. There are several fanmade modifications to this part giving different difficulty.

    Formula for calculating EB's progress

    EB = ( M*C ^ 2 ) / X

    EB = Amount of energy the Europa Barbarorum team has devoted to the mod.
    (a value of 1.00 = 100% completed)

    M = Mass of a smelly Germanic barbarian traveling at the speed of light

    C = # of years after 272 BCE

    X = Laziness

    Soooo, does EB=MC^2?:P

    It's an open ended mod, and will never be complete, or something like that...I'm just hoping some work on EB2 will begin within the next few months. I'm looking forward to seeing what's possible with some of the new kingdoms features.

    You have no idea. M2TW has alot more moddable then Rome. The AI, more faction slots, scripting (the most significant change/addition from Rome IMO), permanent forts (kingdoms), etc.
