Correct me if I'm reading this wrong, but is says requires castle12 instead of castle13 in the txt file. Castle13 is fortress while castle12 is citadel with demi-culverin.

Also, why is billmen cost 300 in txt file while 225 in game.

Changing the size of units (i.e. from 100 per unit to 60) can decrease the cost.

I'm using default. Everything else has the same cost.

I assume if you are English you get a 25% discount on Billmen and probably Longbowmen as well. So 300 -75 = 225.
Our genes maybe in the basement but it does not stop us chosing our point of view from the top.

That's what I thought too but I don't get any discount for longbowmen. Both of these units are English exclusive.

    You are not wrong.

In MTW, the developer decided (intentionally or by mistake?) to put Fortress one level above Citadel. You have to build Citadel before you can upgrade to Fortress.
