It's a nice name , but the Indians would give you their own.... Probably something about mounting buffaloes or whatever.

I often thought that the name "Dances with Wolves" may have been an inside joke by the Souix Indians . They probably always had a tough time keeping a straight face around the Kevin Costner character in the movie.
