Uninstalling EB

I've tried countless times to play EB, but it is sadly just too slow. Does one of the patches contain the vanilla loading bar or do I need to uninstall/reinstall? Is there a mod that contains the loading bar?

Have you tried playing without the scripts enabled? that may help with wait time.

In addition there's also a way to make it a bit faster by setting the process as "High" priority..

Alt - tab when in game, press CTRL + ALT + DEL and click on the processes tab, and set to priority to high. Anything higher than that will throw your other processes of kilter.

Playing without the script enabled wouldn't be playing EB at all.

It would be safest if you just uninstalled and reinstalled all of RTW. There is more in the vanilla folder than just the load bar. The EB uninstall should somewhat undo any EB changes, but it is safest just to uninstall and reinstall everything.

Oh, I see. I thought it was just the loading bar. Now it's been uninstalled so the other mods or origininal game might be affected. OKEE.

I beg to differ.

Once the scripts are disabled, its like playing RTR, which is still quite an accomplishment over RTW vanilla

But recruitment doesn't work like vanilla or RTR. Recruitment requires MICs that differ by government type. Governments for the AI are placed by the script. Without the script, the AI will not build the correct government, if at all. Thus AI unit recruitment is extremely slowed down and won't be correct when they eventually get it. Add to that the fact that ever faction will start out in debt without the money script, crippling every single faction.
