It has been reported by our diplomats that the Gauls have internal strife right now, that should keep them busy for the moment.
There's a more direct threat to Rome, a threat standing in our back; that is Pyrrhus of Epiros himself. He has assembled a huge army and what's more, they are ready to march anytime.
The senate should send a full legion, no less to oppose him. And we should muster some more light troops, so as to teach his elephants to fear our javelins and his phalanxes our slings.
Our aim should be to achieve complete control of the south, and Pyrrhus is the only one standing in our way.
Let our consul face that great threat and receive a greater glory.
