Obviously. I've got a child, killing myself would be the only selfish, intelligent thing to do if it saved her life.
However, on that note and as long as we're spinning wild tales, for me being a parent means being capable of cheerfully destroying the world and killing everything that ever lived for her, so I suspect if I were destroying the world it would be a purposeful act to meet my daughter's needs and wouldn't require me to commit suicide.
