After having my Casse generals die in the 60-70 bracket and thinking back to RTR as the Romans where I think 70-85 was the norm. I was wondering...

1. How is/was lifespan (ie age at which characters die) dealt with in the RTW engine.
2. Has EB modified or adjusted or completely and radically changed any of this.

And, for a more broad in-depth question, how would human rights, health, poverty etc. of the ancient world rate in comparison to the present day situation, especially in developing countries.
