Hello,
I have waited for a while to post a hello - as I wanted to read up all the FAQs about EB. To be honest I'm a bit of a techno phobe and some of the language is scaring me away. (Techno-computer language I mean!) I have loaded the EB on to computer with no problems so far until a CTD (ooh I said it!) happened last night- however I have read the FAQ's and will post in the right area.
So hi everybody - you will be probably getting a lot of why's, what's, how's and huh's from me in other message boards - I hope I don't become a burden!

Love the historical stuff around this - just simply engrossing!

Only the totalwar avatars like the one you are currently using are allowed here. It's purely a style choice the admins made. Photobucket can still be used to post pictures in your posts.

I'm happy to see that the site is always burstling with activity!!!

I plunged into M2TW a few months ago after several years with MTW/VI. It's different, but nice.. Defended Alep against the Mongol in two epic battles, my, oh, my!!!

I'm just wondering now how many lifes will be needed to get tired with those games....

Hello. Been a lurker for a few weeks :P, but now I finally decided to join.

I'm really interested in making an AAR (I really like Northnovas' work), and have just finished editing screenshots from my first part ^_^ (HRE)

I'm also interested in joining LotR sooner or later. I already downloaded the SS 4.0 mod and the LotR file.

And as for the AAR, since my comp crashed, I had to reinstall the game, so no save files

I'll have to start from scratch once I fix the game (it keeps CTDing, please help by looking at my topic in teh Apothecary)

Andres, your words sadden me. To attempt to project your slightly....odd behavior onto myself simply isn't becoming a Belgian of your stature. You really should just own up to your all too-obvious admiration for camels; this deep denial of yours simply isn't healthy.

Hello Martok! Passing by, I don't have as much time as before to participate in this forum, but it's still a pleasure to read it from time to time, and, errr, well, feel a bit at home...

I met two kids (a friend's friend's kids) last WE in the countryside in Ardèche (South east of France). The youngest (8 years old) plays swords with me, speaks of the shields the roman have "especially in turtle formation, an then the archers cannot kill them or so few, only infantry and cavalry"... I ask him, astonished "you don't happen by any means to play a game named Rome Total War?" and the kid jumps everywhere and run to his brother "He knows the game!! He knows the game!!"

I'm growing old, I think!!!

I have to admit that I never ceased to be amazed by how young some TW fans are. I've always thought one would need to be at least 12-13 in order to appreciate and understand these games. That said, however, I certainly don't mind being wrong.

I'm growing old, I think!!!

LOL. Believe me, I share that feeling sometimes.
