Hi, I just recently purchased shogun total war (the first one) via steam which was on sale at 75% off. :D. I am literally a noob here to total war games. I must say after playing some strategy games, this game has a very high learning curve but I enjoyed it. It took me probably more or less than a week to figure it out. Anyway, Hi again to everyone! :D

I'm a relative noob to TW (I've dabbled in MTW back in the day, but I've not played since). Still, strategy games run deep in my blood (SSI strategy games, anyone?).

Welcome to The Org. Although most of the true masters of the original Shogun are gone, there are still enough of their disciples around to help with any questions you have.

Hello, I'd just like to say hello. I'm new to the Total War series, I have, however purchased all of the games from Steam, and I am now busily watching a number of series featuring various _mods_ and I must say the mods are amazing in their scope and game play alterations, very cool indeed. One of these days I really must play some of the games, but right now I'm enjoying myself enormously by watching various playlists of the modded games Empire and Napoleon so far. I also should mention that I'm 70 years of age, and I really love history ! !
