Thanks for the Welcome I have just registered after weeks of perusing your helpful forum.
Mithrandi guess you are a big tolken / third age fan.
I myself have just got stuck into my first play through of M2TW Started playing as English on Med Med and have just gotten hit by the Black Death (no casualties so far thanks for asking) I have 45 provinces and Jereusalim to capture for the win (Mongols have it but I keep engineering rebellions there) Papal A Turks A Poland N Moors E and Egypt E and Baz Antioch left. Next playthrough will be as the Egyptians ( I am keeeping them allive in Jedda Gaza and Acher to fight the Mongols untill I get St Jhon chapter houses in Cairo and Alexandria) I could have my pope call a crusade and win but wan't to check out the new world.
As my profile states I an into medieval history and sword fighting.
Have found most answers to my questions and some cool guides. Reputation Guide(I am deceitful thanks to some early errors), World is round, Malvolio's how to use pikes and Nate's Naval & Siege guide being my favorites and Many little but important hints in the big informative thread. It is Great. 'The effect of hills' being a fave as Playing English Having 2/3rd's of a stack of archers stepped up a hill warded with stakes and defending swordsmen gives a arrow storm that lags my laptop and shreds rival armies.
Would like to play game as it was intended so I will try the Retro mod to fix all the little discrepancies (no free upkeep from tourney fields , broken trait triggers for Princesses and Admirals{highlights among others})

Alas, Mithrandir has taken a ship at the Grey Havens and has gone into the West.

In a week or so, I'll be starting up my first M2TW campaign too. We are trying round up Org patrons to take up M2TW and play it again, at least for a bit, starting around mid-May. So you may have some company in learning the game and the assistance of some veteran players too.

I havent been here since the samurai warlord days with Ras, Tosa, Puzz and the rest. I see gregoshi is still here, is Tosa? Or any of kenchikuka?

Most of the old clans are essentially dead though.

I noticed that you have no avatars from Rome I. Will they be added if someone becomes a normal or senior member or you just abandoned them.

Hi @Crandar, welcome to the Org. You should be able to choose avatars from RTW1: they have the RTW_ prefix. There should be a dozen or so categories.

Do you still have access to the email account you used to sign up as Cassandar? If so, you can reset your password and I can merge accounts.

I do not remember which was the email adress I used to register as Cassander, but do not worry; I had never posted as Cassander.

Hello friends... and foes... New to the Forums, but old in the HS.
I'm a old, gray-bearded, grumpy 22 y old guy. Didn't play this in looong time, but after a personal invite gona give it a one more chance.

I'm European, from one small and perfect country called Croatia. I didn't know Tonno is tuna in Italian, got that nick from my family, it's short from Tomislav what is my first name.

Looking forward to proclaim gospel of "kickin-yo-ars in HS" all over this forums!

Ave, all. New to the forum, though not quite to the Total War games.

I've enjoyed vanilla RTW from the onset, and have only recently delved into M2TW through steam purchase. My machine isn't the best, and in regards to apparently existing issues with formations in R2, I'm not in any rush to play it.

I've come here largely to seek assistance with an issue regarding the very lovely EB mod.
