Im from north somerset, gert makin cider place, are dialect is slowly being dumped on tha bristolians, they too use te word gert, and will soon use makin.

I do speak in an accent (a very strong one) and can speak the regional language (it's above a dialect). But I can't type it, because it's simply too difficult.

Well i was sittin at home last sunduy mornin, when me mate boomer rang, said he was havin a few friends over for a barbie, said he might cook a burra or two. I said "sounds great!, Will walla be there?" he said "Yeah, and vegie might come to" I said to me wife anna, "you wanna go anna?" she said "ill go if din goes" i said to boomer "What'll we do about Nulla?" he said "Nulla bores me to tears, leave him at home" We rocked up to the party at about 2, went straight into the kitchen to put some booze in the fridge, and you wouldnt believe, theres boomers wife warra trying to plat a puss. Now i dont like to speak ill o' warra but how much can a koala bear?
Thats all for now, going to works. Bloody Oath...

I say, what a jolly good idea for a thread! I think it's absolutely spiffing! Now I'll be able to see all the variety of dialects and accents from around the world submitted by Johnny Foreigner and all the other lower class yobboes. My anthropology lecturer at Magdalene's will be most chuffed. Anyway, must dash, as I have to have a quick snifter before going out for supper. Toodle pip!
