Default Online Charity - A Disabled Kid Needs Help

So it turns out this little guy is the my mother's friend's friend's son. Everyone's connected, I guess. He's had an accident not long ago and is incapable of independent mobility. His mother does her best to take care of him, but it's becoming difficult now that he's getting older and, well, bigger.

So here's how this works. When one visits www.wishdom.com, they can pick a cause and vote for it once a day. At the end of a certain amount of time, the cause with the most votes is declared the 'winner', of sorts, and the people who run the website make their request happen.

The cause for which I'm soliciting is currently #2, meaning that only one cause has more votes than it. To vote for his cause, one visits http://www.wishdom.com/stage/www-xdo...f-aeb7aaf09535 or simply www.wishdom.com and browses for the #2 entry (my apologies, it's in German). When one wishes to vote, they can click on the "find' ich gut" button on the cause's page. The site requires voters to register in order to make sure that no more than one vote per day is being used.

    Thank you for your time.

I'm in the process of registering, I think that's a very good idea.

I had it in certain situations, yes, but I don't want to derive the topic (despite the low number of actual answers) since I think it's a rather good cause and deserves some attention.

OK... I am trying to give my vote but this message keeps popping up:
Ihr Account ist gesperrt. Bitte bestätigen Sie ihre Registrierung.
I haven't received a confirmation mail.. yet. Are they slow or what?

I guess this kid is will need at least an extra 2000 votes by 31st of october to win.

Haven't gotten a confirmation mail either and I registered shortly before my first post here.
Guess they're insanely slow for some reason.
