Edit the map terrain in this game? I know how to make provinces just fine, but sometimes I wish I could put a mountain between myself and my opponent... or other times I wish there was a river there... or even plains to open up the attack for AI.

I have Adobe Photoshop and my friend's getting me 3DS MAX.

It is all described here. Rivers are in map_features.tga and mountains in map_heights.tga. Map_ground_types.tga contains forests, non-walkable terrain, etc...
