We just got some 1337 photoshop skills, like tampering with pictures to make'em look like new walls resizing some trees, making some little icons and saying they're satrapies... anyone can do that.

Well, now we know EB1.0 won't be released for a long time. All these team members are posting on here instead of finalising stuff.

Clearly they have no sense of urgency.

Great preview guys! Though I also wanna know, who the heck are those green-caped fellas with the Phyrgian helmets and two-handed Romphia? If you can recruited them as Pontos I'm going to.....be very very happy!

Query: How "extensive" will this title system be? For example, if a Seleukid player conquers Sicily, will the general on the island gets a "Satrap of Sicily" trait or its equivalent or are the Satrapies only limited to what's presented in the teaser?

Actually, we're only going to make them available through file sharing the first period, because otherwise our server's bandwidth would be quickly surpassed. You may want to find a Bittorrent or ED2K client you'll like while waiting for the release.

You could upload them on alt.binaries.boneless or a other newsgroup and everybody has instant access on this planet for a month or so if you place a NZB or the filename

You should know the golden rule by now....

EB is never finished....it's always a work in progress.

At least people will stop calling it a beta (which it hasn't really been for some time).

Just wanted to point out that the name of your general doesnt change to "Satrap Glueos Stickos" for example.

And these satrap titles are ancillaries and shouldn't be hard to obtain neither easy. You have a general with low Influence the chances are more slim. There are some set criteria.
However as they are ancillaries, you can swap them around if you want, so if you think that no good Dionysos-loving drunkard of a son who'd probably spend all taxes on a major temple to Dionysos with fountains of wine should be satrap in Media say, feel free to swap

The fact that you guys made the titles ancillaries, and thus, swappable, makes them 1,000,000 times better.

The Roman titles are both an ancillary and a trait.

For example, the ancillary for Africa is "Provinciae Africa Vetus". The trait describes the territory and its people, some history, challenges, etc.

The trait, is either "Proconsul Provinciae" or "Propraetor Provinciae" or "Rector Provinciae" based on what type of general you have there.

The Trait gives bonuses to law or public order or whatnot.
