Proposing marriage???

HI all anyone know how to propose marriage to princess from another faction? Pope gave me mission to marry my prince to another faction princess but i don't know how to do that.

Initiate diplomacy with that princess (if you can find her) and it'll be an option

This is something that I've been wondering about for a while now. Do other people have much success at this? Whenever I want to marry off a new heir I can never find a princess. Or, if I can, it's the princess of the faction I've been at war with for the last 30 years who has the grace and charm of a bucket of rotting herring.

Short of cheating and toggling fog of war, what do people recommend?

I've never had much success, due to the fact that a princess must be the daughter of the reigning king, who comes of age during his reign - that's fairly rare so there aren't many to choose from

Actually it can also be the daughter of a current prince. I've had luck generating princesses (Kill the current prince when the next one has a daughter about to age in if necessary), but in order to find a princess you have to be fortunate and use toggle_fow. Try hunting for one in the years before your prince comes of age so that you can position a diplomat to get the marriage arranged as quickly as possible after he comes of age.

Send spies to small nations like Portugal and Denmark, keep tracing the settlement of the region where their king/prince is so when princess comes in age you will most likely see her, also keep diplomat nearby and pray forthe best.

erm....or the simplest way to track other fraction princess is use toggle fow..
easy and reliable!!!!hehe then used move_character to send over ur diplomat to the princess!!!! but i do know how to move a character with more than 2 name. so good luck ya!!!!

ditto, i just send a spy and have it keep tabs on a King, and position a diplomat either nearby, or in a centralized area of a few factions
